I really think that's weird becaus obviously sex and nudity is more divisive than "common". I mean look at this thread. Or look at any critique of a movie with an explicit sex scene vs. a movie of roughly the same quality without. Sex may work as publicity short term, but long term you can seriously fuck up your reputation like that.
