I usually just use water or a very, very light application of non-scented soap.

How frustrating to have to be so careful. I'm not that sensitive to things like soaps, but the wrong (or too many, or too much) perfume, incense, laundry detergent and/or scented candles or oils or whatever will give me an immediate, pile-driving headache.

Soap isn't nearly as bad as cleaning chemicals. God, I would break out and have asthma attacks when I was kid because Mom is obsessive about how clean her house is and would spray toxins everywhere in the house. It was hell.

Then I moved out and was like, 'Holy cow, this is what being able to breathe freely feels like!'

Thank you! I still break out in a rash and start sneezing and wheezing every time I visit my parents.

Ack!! That sucks.

I always kinda want to smack my sis-in-law when she smokes around her kid that has every allergy known to man (it seems) and asthma, too. Grrr!

That's horrible. Does she not understand that she's hurting her child?

I dunno what's going on in her brain. Meh.
