AYRT - I think it was mostly bad as an adaptation of the book, in fairness, and I'll admit even some of that was probably fan expectation. For instance, everyone including me lost it over the Marauders not getting any attention - while there's things that just plain don't make sense because of it, I also think Marauder fans really wanted The Marauders and the Prisoner of Azkaban, not Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. That was never going to happen.) At the same time, the Marauders really are important to the books, and like I said there's aspects of the film that don't make sense with the huge omission.
