Name some that don't have a female equivalent.

Sports bars with hot waitresses in tight uniforms. Personally, I'd like a combination bookstore/tea shop where all the staff are gorgeous men in period clothing.

The problem is, the overhead's a lot higher. For the Hooters model, all you need are some skimpy skirts, some macro lagers on tap, and some mediocre hot wings.

In contrast, period clothing is way more expensive than tight t-shirts, tea shop goods actually need to be decent quality, and bookstores are already expensive and unprofitable to run.

We really need a strong business case if we want to make this shit happen, okay?

THANK YOU. Finally someone else who recognizes that their wings are mediocre at best!

So give us a male equivalent with men in tight tops and short shorts. But the frustrating thing is that the people in charge of businesses seem to think that women don't care about visuals. Even strip clubs that cater to women are generally much more jokey and not at all like strip clubs for men.

Well, I mean, let's work this thing out then. I don't think wings & beer works as well for a female audience, but it shouldn't be that hard to work out a cocktail menu. The question is what we want to use as the basic model for a restaurant - and the difficulty is that I suspect that 'wings, fries, & burgers' is basically the most profitable thing for a restaurant to be, but i think we can get there.

You want Japan for something like that.

Japan is way worse for women than hooters. Maid cafe's and blow-job bars are a thing there.

No argument on that front. I'm just saying that's where OP needs to go if they want hot guy tea shops.

One) Your suggestion would not be an equivalent. if you think women don't like sports, you are an idiot.

Two) It is called Tallywackers. Looking at Yelp reviews it seems it isn't doing too well (even among women).

1) I didn't say women don't like sports. The question was an example of a space that caters to mostly men. I named an example.

2) Oh, wow! Ladies, we can all go home now because as compensation for all the many bars with scantily clad waitresses, we have one apparently not really good restaurant in Texas! Equality has been achieved at last! *fistpump*

I second your bookstore/tea shop idea!

Why would it matter if there's a female equivalent? They would be two different, segregated spaces, one of which is men-only.
