I think you would be disappointed. I am ridiculously easy to please so my word on whether something is good or not wouldn't be worth much. :)

No, no, no. I'm easy to please as well. I really want handsome pirates, cool ships, and writing that isn't off the wall cray-cray. If I get that trifecta then I'm good.

I watched Black Sails - and it's funny: I stopped halfway through season one because I was bored and then started watching again when season two started again - and I actually liked season 2 quite a bit. Although it's basically GoT with pirates - lots of fanservicy sex and nudity and OTT violence. So ... it's kinda entertaining but definitely a matter of taste.

Partly, although a lot of it is the usual fanservice lesbian sex.
But considering your icon, there might actually be a few guys in there that might fit your taste!

And it's quite amusing how they fit in the Treasure Island characters with actual historic people.
