If she doesn't want to talk about it she doesn't have to talk about it.

We're not owed an explanation just because we have the same genitals. Plus she probably has some contractual issues preventing her from discussing it. Or maybe she's a secret misogynist. You won't know either way until she decides to talk about it and she doesn't ever have to do that.
