Re: At what age do you consider someone an adult?

As in hold them to adult standards or expect them to behave like adults? 18 and about 20-25, respectively. Basically, first year out of school, whenever that may be. Or in graduate studies.

Once they're 18 things like *the law* judge them by adult standards, so me being exasperated by them not knowing how to cook is fairly minor. Hopefully I can help them realize they're adults before they do something stupid (like assume ramen noodles count as a meal and end up in the hospital with malnutrition despite their 'three meals a day'), but even if not it does them no good to be coddled.
