How much of a snowflake are you? Not in terms of the world at large but in comparison to the rest of your fandom(s).

e.g. in many fandoms being female, being a geek, and reading fanfic are all defaults and/or assumed to be true, so for those fandoms, those doesn't count

I'm an MCU & comics nerd who's heavily into the Loki shit (MCU and Agent of Asgard) but I don't ship him in any way, shape, or form. No porn, nothin', not that I judge any of that. Yeah, he's hot... and completely screwed up. I'm not an apologist either, all the horrible things he did are on him. It's not exactly the standard position in the fandom. *shrug* No idea if that counts.

Everything is pretty generic with me. I'm not much of a snowflake.

I'm similar wrt Marvel Loki... though I have read some shippy stuff movie/comics, but only if in character. Prefer gen tho. Also, I don't really find him hot. Just interesting. I got over the tumblr fanon REALLY fast.

Yeah, all I write is gen. I like watching him suffer for what he's done, like, I'm sympathetic to the general reasonings for his actions but they don't excuse him. So I find that interesting to play with; can there be any hope for someone in his own personally-crafted position? I like characters like that. I was big into Ben Linus a few years ago for similar reasons, and I didn't ship him either.

Tumblr fandom doesn't bother me too much, maybe because I snuck in during low tide (post SDCC appearance) and there wasn't much new Loki stuff for people to go nuts about. I have to fight to find non-ship fanart, which I understand, but still... kinda wish there were more gen artists. But I understand. *shrug*

I am very much not a snowflake in my fandoms, except for disinterest in smut or porn, which I think would make me...maybe not in the minority, but not in a huge majority either; however, I don't think that's really that snowflakey either so...?

I'm one of the only women I know who participates in my favorite hobby, which is tangentially fandom-related, but not actually part of fandom. Other than that, I got nothin'. I'm a middle-class young single straight white woman from the US, that's about a stereotypical as it gets.

I'm sick to death of hearing variations on "oh it's pretty weird and awesome that you, an adult woman, like wrestling." I know the fandom on tumblr is mostly female, but elsewhere online it is mostly male - or expected to be male. If you've ever been to a show, however, you'll see plenty of adult women who actually like what they are watching and aren't just there for the husband or kids. But, the perception is only dudes and kids like wrestling.

Especially since as an outsider I feel like the wrestling champs are being really welcoming to people right now. The amount of genuinely good folks in the scene seems like it's at an all time high. Keep feeling like I should watch it here and there, just for the hell of it.
