I wouldn't put it past some idiot teenage boy to claim to be trans just to get into the girls' locker room.

This is a mythic fear and often cited by transphobes. I'd like to see some teenage boy try to be "out" about being trans, getting approval from school, presumably parents, maintaining that character, get bullied, you know, in this unicorn case they'd learn more about empathy and trans issues than some cheap thrills vs finding it on the net. I think the cis girls gonna be alright.

I don't about that…

I can see a guy telling his friends about his plan ahead of time. Which would definitely mean he's not getting bullied (he'd be seen as a hero/clever more likely…)

Plus we have a saying in this situation, "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, or the one."
