Oh, so even though you're aware the scene is an intentional case of misunderstanding slapstick, I'm "one of those people" for daring to find it amusing? Not buying this sincerity schtick, tell us your real deal!

NAYRT, but it's possible this just hit them on a bad day. I like Seiya, and I think their friendship was profound and entertaining, but when I was watching it for the first time I had an overly attached friend who had just flipped the line to stalker. He was harmless, but it skeeved me out and I have to be in a certain frame of mind to watch Stars even now.

I mean, I know I've occasionally overreacted to a hot button before. It's not uncommon. If they've apologized, it's probably best to let it go.
