He wasn't, I just felt that they...didn't click very well. They never seemed to have much in common outside of ~destiny~

That and I found Mamoru boring, but he wasn't a bad guy. Just...meh, for me.

Preaching to the choir, here. I liked Mamoru well enough and get that he and Usagi have this great destiny together and are in love, blah blah blah, but he always felt bland and boring to me. From the very first episodes of Stars I was all over Seiya/Usagi. Seiya was just so much more fun than Mamoru.
