Ooh, i adored pony/horse books! Black Beauty, of course, even though it's sad. And Misty of Chincoteague, and The Black Stallion, and Summer Pony, and Winter Pony, and A Horse for XYZ, and The Monday Horses....

That's all I can think of for the moment. :)

I was about to add A Horse for XYZ if no one else had. I was never really into horses as a kid, but for some reason that book hit a lot of the right buttons.

I think you're the first person i've ever met who's actually read it. It seems kind of obscure in the 'horse book' world.

I randomly came across it in the school library in 5th grade. Don't know why I decided to read it, but I did.
