I joke because I'm scared...

Haa, same here :/ And because I feel foolish for being scared of a thing that, as my mother put it, "has a bucket on its head" XD

He can't even move that fast! I think I could outrun him unless he dropped the knife but I still get literal nightmares. *shudders*

Same here with the nightmares (but to be fair, it's not just him - it's all of Silent Hill... doesn't stop me from playing it, though). It's ridiculous, really, isn't it? (Though speaking of the outrunning... that bit in the hospital basement makes me sort of panic every time... like, he's not moving that fast, but he's still always right behind me D:)

I kept getting turned around there, and it was horrible because I'd find myself looking at him heading right for me. I'd be like "Wait, which way do I go? OH HELL NOT THAT WAY!!!" I was playing on beginner level but I was still really sure I was going to die.

I have had nightmares about other characters from the games but not nearly as many as I've had about him. (Though some of them were very funny when I woke up... like the one where I was watching a Star Trek TOS rerun and he showed up on the Enterprise a bit character. WTF.)
