I didn't have a big problem with that scene particularly?

But I think McGann is a kind of embarrassing actor. It's an embarrassing movie.

On the other hand, it has Eric Roberts. And Eric Roberts is amazing.

I love this movie so much. I mean, it's cheesy sure, but DW sort of exists in a universe of cheese so... not really out of place.

Plus Paul McGann... mm...

Easy solution, just watch on your computer and skip that scene. Skip whenever you cringe to hard, and you'll still get some lovely lovely Eight being strange and beautiful.

It's so bad it made me angry, so I get it. Although, I did laugh hysterically when the seventh doctor gets gunned down in an alley like Batman's dad.

I fucking love this movie. Mostly because I read the books later and it gave me a visual for the face I wanted to punch - I didn't like 8 in the books, but I did love him dearly because he was such an arse.

Also, because Paul McGann has very, very pretty eyes.
