Yeah. I like to keep the opinions I talk about pretty positive, unless I'm criticizing something like plain bad writing or whatever. Nothing against people who do, but I'm not the type to say 'dear god fandom please shut up about this character and let the plot move on' - maybe I should have worded it like that in the secret, lol.

Eh, to eahc their own, OP. must be frustrating to see a character you don't really care for suddenly get so much screentime. Hopefully her character will take a direction you en joy and you'll start liking her eventually!

(Personally, Peridot embodies SO MANY of my favorite tropes, i'm cackling madly everytime she's onscreen. Fun times!)

Could be worse... If Pearl was your one disliked character you might as well give up the show.

I don't trust Peridot for a second, but I find her interactions amusing. I can get being annoyed if you think they're trying to force a redemption. (Yet to see if they'll go the redemption route, but I don't think it's the only possible outcome of her current interactions. Let's be honest, she's trying to save her OWN skin, too, and she likes/cares about Steven because virtually everyone likes/cares about Steven.)

I do find the "startled cat in new environment" persona really funny and cute, but if that kind of thing annoys you, I can see why you'd be annoyed by Peridot in these episodes.

I feel you, OP. I just don't find the current Peridot storyline interesting and am not particularly charmed by her interactions with Steven... but a few of my friends in the fandom love her, so I don't really want to say anything negative about it.

I totally get this, OP. If someone were to ask me, I'd say my least favorite characters are all the humans, but deep down I really don't care about Peridot at all. Heck, even her character design is the least appealing to me. Unfortunately she's the fan favorite (for some reason), so admitting this would probably result in dogpiling.

Peridot's the type of character I don't care for, and I feel like she's way too much of a woobie for me to feel invested in. I feel like the show is hitting me over the head to find her cute, but it just makes me bored. The fandom isn't making me like her anymore.
