When people advertise something as being "rich and creamy" I am a little bit grossed out, tbh.

I've pretty much given up on cake for that reason. ...Unless I make it and I don't just overload it with icing, which is rare because I'd rather make a fruit-based dessert so I can at least pretend I'm being healthy-ish.

I enjoy fruit flavoured desserts and desserts with fruit on the top, but desserts with bits of fruit in them are so gross to me.

I feel like I'm being poisoned whenever I find fruit hidden in something unexpectedly. It's a horrible betrayal of my trust.

the advertising phrase that always grossed me out was "ooey gooey". That does not sound tasty, it sounds disgusting.
