I think I felt the same way when I graduated, at least about a lot of people, if not everybody. And honestly, I would go just to see what happened to people I'm curious about. I think it would be interesting. One of my best friends was in the same class as me (we met in elementary school and have stayed close through the years), so I'd go with her if I could, and that way we would be able to prevent each other from getting bored or into super awkward situations, heh.

The poll thing sounds interesting but I'm not sure how practical it would be. How big was your graduating class?

I figure I'll see what some of my other friends are doing too. My best friend has a guy she's fairly serious about (yet I've never met him, which is another issue) so if she wants to bring him along then I know it won't be me and her, I'd be the third wheel.

I'm friends with people from elementary school too. The other thing is that in high school I hung out with everyone from all different grades so being forced to just mingle with my grade is a foreign concept to me.

There were about 250 in my graduating class, so it wasn't small but wasn't super large either.

Ahh, okay. Not tiny, but you probably know who pretty much everyone is?

I think my graduating class was around 650. A little bit more to coordinate xD

When I say I'm curious about what's happened to people, that's just because it's a thing that genuinely interests me. Some people aren't interested in random peoples' lives (lol that makes it sound so creepy) and that's ok too. You should go if you think you'll enjoy it or if there are individuals you'd like to see, or if it would be a fun outing with friends you like being around, but not if your only reason for going is a feeling of obligation, IMO.

Definitely knew who everyone was. Whether I talked to them or not is another story. (I went to school with most of them from either kindergarten or sixth grade, so I knew them a long time)

I'm friends with about half of them on facebook so I see what most of my class has been up to in the past.

Thanks for help. I'm still on the fence about going, but I have a few weeks to decide.
