I searched "child abuse" on Science Daily, read the results, and cried over them in the middle of a lecture theatre. No one noticed because I cry silently. I feel very alone.

I do wish I had someone who'd love and comfort me in moments like this. All my friends either need comfort and protection themselves or aren't exactly the touchy-feely kind. But getting it out there certainly helps!

I definitely know what you mean. Life can get hard and lonely and it's hard when there's no one there to comfort you. I don't really have any advice but I hope you can find a place to get that kind of comfort. And if talking about it helps I'm also glad for that.
