I have been going batshit insane trying to search for the source of a story from Jewish folklore which was translated into Korean. After AGES of searching I finally found one source that actually says it's a Jewish story at all, and it states that it's from the midrash - but it doesn't source it!!!

Damn I wish I could just find the source for this story T^T
