I just watched the trailer and this...looks like it might be kind of good? I mean, it's exactly the kind of story that has been so glaringly missing from mainstream movies. I admit, I'd be more excited about it if Jack Black's character was played by someone A. a little better looking (cuz I'm shallow like that), and B. A little less inclined to indulge in incredibly stupid humor. But going by the trailer, I'll definitely be giving this movie a chance at some point in the near future.

I also have an adultery kink, in fanfic more than in original fiction (though I'm not sure whether that distinction is particularly important). However, I feel like adultery is one of those things that is usually so much more justified in fiction (especially fanfic) than it is in real life. In real life the reasons for cheating are usually pretty mundane and sad. Whereas in fiction the character often cheats because the person they're cheating with is The Love of Their Life, and they just didn't know it before, or didn't meet the person until after they were married to someone else. That kind of thing.
