I kinda agree though it's hard to look past the gore and fanservice since it's so in your face. It was only heartwarming when it was SoL but when it got to the plot it was just friends brutally murder each other for shock.

I mean, the part where Satoko was brutally tortured to death or beaten by a chair or Rika stabbing herself with a knife... kinda hard to get past that.
