Yeahhhhh he seems like a nice guy but his standup and general comedy stuff just seems... meh.

I like his stand up act, but his show falls flat for me.

+1 I like his stand up and the show started out promising but then I didn't find it funny at all. And I thought he was funny in My Boys so I know he can do sitcoms.

I like him when he knocks off the shitty audience "commentary." Once or twice is fine, but repeatedly throughout the show makes me want to change the channel.

Comedy is like an ice cream shop. No one expects you to like every single flavor. It's fine. I'll eat this ice cream. You eat something else. It's all good.

That's a great way to put it, and I think that phrasing could apply to media preferences of any kind.

And even then not everyone will care because hey, now they have ice cream they can eat off their face.
