She's aged like a fine wine.

I agree.

I'm always going to love her XF Season 4 look the best, because I love Scully madly, while I only like and admire Gillian. But I don't think she's any less beautiful now than she was then, and objectively she may be even more beautiful now. Her bone structure is phenomenal and she's got that classy, sharp, sort of aristocratic thing going on now.

In all fairness, botox is a thing, and I'd bet all my savings she's having that done on the regular (along with almost everyone else in the popular film industry). But she only looks so amazing because her underlying features and bone structure are so fab.

Plus she, you know, a good actor who's been landing interesting roles that showcase her strengths. So yeah, good on her. :)

Is this season 4? I tried googling but got a bit of everything. She looks gorgeous in this screen, but she was always gorgeous; I just think she looks more 'refined' now. I find her face more interesting, but it is different and I guess that can't appeal to everyone.

That's an excellent way to describe it! She HAS got killer bone structure, and she def has a sharp, classy look about her. I find it very sexy.

I don't keep up with that sort of thing, but I'm sure lots of actors and actresses do it. Too much and that can go bad, but whatever the reason she looks amazing. (And even if she did have botox, yea, there's no way I believe that's the only reason she looks so good. Botox can only do so much.)

And of course she's talented, so plus! She was easily the best thing about Hannibal outside the two leads.

Is this season 4? I tried googling but got a bit of everything.

I think that's season 8, but I'm not totally sure. Very beautiful, but tainted for me by the fact that I associate it with S8, which, blegh.

(FTF was filmed in the summer between S4 and S5, so S4 Scully and FTF Scully are pretty close.)

Yeah, I think it's sexy too, and yeah, more refined. If I didn't love Scully so much, I think her current look would probably be my favorite.

8?! Jesus, I forgot the show was even that long. I googled and woooow, 9 seasons... (The show was damn good at least in earlier seasons, but...not many shows can maintain the same level of quality for that long.)

She's so young in these! She can't be much younger than me and yet I keep thinking, "She looks like a baby!" I want her flawless skin...

Though honestly, again, she's still every bit as beautiful to me. Other than the wrinkles (which I actually like) I don't feel like much about her face has changed. Maybe it's just me.

If they had given Gillian a similar hairstyle to Scully's then I doubt people would be as shocked about her appearance.
