Hey now, you aren't a disgusting freak for a medical problem you don't have control over! Don't be so hard on yourself. It isn't like you had any idea you were going to be this sick when you made plans. (Anyone can get sick and have to cancel, you aren't unique in that!)

If you have to reschedule I bet your friend would understand.

Thanks. I know I'm being mopey and dramatic. I needed to get it out of my system somewhere. Probably should have phrased that differently. Lol.

She will. She might even drop by to see me. I babysat her kid for her when they all got gastro (kid included), so really, there are no boundaries in this friendship.

I'm just tired of how often I have to say no to things I want to do. Facebook has a notification now for when friends are going to events nearby, and it's like YES I KNOW. RUB IT IN MY FACE WHY DON'T YOU.

I wouldn't call it mopey because it's a reasonable thing to be disappointed and upset by, but yea, it isn't fair to beat yourself up about it either! Not your fault.

She sounds like a great friend! Even if you have to stay in you can still have fun. (Especially if she comes over. Always good having company.) I know it isn't the same, but the plans you had for today can wait until you're feeling better!

I don't use facebook (one of the few, I know, lol) but that would irritate me. I'm not one for constant updates anyway. (And if you do have something you want to go to and can't, that would get frustrating fast.)

You don't use facebook!? But where do you post your selfies and brag about what you're having for lunch? How do you compare yourself to people you went to school with?

I still have 3 or 4 hours to make a miraculous recovery. Probably won't happen but I can dream. She is good people. She won't stay at my house for long at the moment because devil child is going through a stage of breaking things and laughing like a maniac. We aren't sure if he's going to be a sociopath or it's just a toddler thing.

I have cheered up significantly since the panadol kicked in. There are new things on Netflix. It is a gloriously cold afternoon.

I never ever share my selfies (and only started taking them regularly a couple years ago, when I started losing weight and wanted to be able to 'compare') and don't share my lunch. (I did try twitter years and years ago. It was not for me.)

A lot can happen in four hours! It might not, but there are worse ways to spend an evening than on Netflix. (And come on, your queue is probably a mile long anyway, right?)

Well now you've got me worried your friend is in a Rosemary's Baby type scenario. In that case him being a sociopath might be a step up.

I'm pretty sure my display picture is 3 years old. Oops. I haven't really aged though, so I doubt anyone has noticed. I suck at updating and just use it to lurk and sometimes chat to old friends.

I do have a lot still to watch on Netflix! I'm watching like six series or something at the moment. I might start another.

He laughed when he head-butted me in the nose when he was younger, and then tried to repeat the same action. He's also drawn blood biting me on the neck like a vampire. He growls a lot, too. It's not a very human noise. It's possible that we are all living in the start of a horror movie.

I think this is the last of the cool weather before summer hits. I will enjoy it while it lasts!
