Re: Would you a trap or reverse-trap
I have a knight-enchanter Inquisitor too and enjoy it; it's a great class.
Re: Would you a trap or reverse-trap
Re: Would you a trap or reverse-trap
Though I know Viv could solo one too, I've never tried it!
What class did you pick for your Inquisitor?
Re: Would you a trap or reverse-trap
I didn't because I only have a laptop that isn't good enough to play the game. I don't have enough money for a good computer. I cling desperately and sadly to let's plays while I play DA:O for the hundredth time.
If I could make a Quizzie though? Female Adaar Rift Mage.
Re: Would you a trap or reverse-trap
Though I still love DAI for the cast, the pretty graphics and the main quests.
I hope you get to play it sooner rather than later!
Female Adaar Rift Mage sounds epic. My female Adaar is a two handed rogue, but I think my male Adaar is a mage. I have so many Inquisitors I can't even remember now...
Rift mage is a cool specialization! Solas has been very useful because of it.
Re: Would you a trap or reverse-trap
Yeah, I really like the story and specializations. My only beef with inquisition is the romance options and how there are twice as many male companions as women. I'm apparently picky. I never knew this about myself.
Solas is a dick! But yeah, I picked Rift Mage because for the headcanon I want to play out that would make the most sense. "I'm a mage who has a really powerful thing on their hand. Let's learn to use the thing. Makes sense."
Do you do the super-in-depth-headcanon about your PC like a lot of people in Da fandom do?
Re: Would you a trap or reverse-trap
The story is really good, I just wish the main quest was longer. There's way too many side-quests; there should be a couple more main missions. I actually like the romance options, but that's highly subjective. Can't blame you on the companions thing though, even though I (more or less) like all the companions.
Solas IS a dick, but I still love him. Rift Mage always made the most sense to me from a storyline pov, so I like your headcanon! (What a practical Inquisitor you will have.)
Not really? (I don't think.) I almost always have a back-story in mind and I don't think you can play through a game like this without giving your character a personality and having a decent grasp on who you perceive them to be, but it's not as specific as a lot of people's. I have enough headcanon to write my own fanfic (if I could write, which I can't) but it amazes me how deep some people go. (Not necessarily in a bad way, though! It's kind of impressive.)
Re: Would you a trap or reverse-trap
Hmm, yeah, that's something I can't really know how I feel about until I someday play it. Someday. So I'll take your word on it. As for romance, I like quite a few but none of them are available to Fem!Adaar or I like them only with a different kind of Quizzie. Like there are those romances I'm not fond of, Blackwall and Solas come to mind, and then there are those that I like but can't have, Dorian and Cullen. Next, of course, there are those that I like but can't get over having a chick there instead of a dude, Iron Bull. Next we get those that are nice and cute but aren't for me, Josephine and Sera. I find this weird for me when in the games before I had a real hard time choosing between people. It was really hard to decide because I liked everyone equally.
And I love all the companions too. I'm just weirded out by the ratio.
(More like a paranoid weirdo but she'll take practical over that any time.)
Judging by how I treated my Warden I'm one of those people. Why did they choose Ghilan'nain vallaslin instead of Andruil? What concepts of human civilization are foreign to them? Blah blah blah. (And sorry about the long wait for a reply. I got distracted researching The Forgotten Ones and Kal-Sharok and how west you can go in Thedas. Apparently not that west.)
vague spoilers for the game that you probably already know about
Not sure I understand you, do you mean you would only be interested in Iron Bull's romance if you were playing a male character? There's nothing wrong with that, just wanted to make sure. I'm not really interested in romancing Bull with a woman either, but then again I usually choose to do same-sex romances given the choice. When you can't I'll enjoy it anyway (I fully expect to get around to Cass's romance eventually) but having the option is cool and I tend to take it. Also, to me it feels like a m/m BDSM relationship is a bit less uncommon than a m/f one, so I like that.
Dorian is a really good romance, as is Cullen. If you ever decide to romance them, I think it'll be worth it. (Bull too! Even if you aren't interested in the sex aspect of that relationship, he's a lot more fluffy and funny than you might expect.)

Well, every cast is different. You might not be as attached to these yet, but hopefully when you play the game that will change. If not...you can't always love all character equally. That's a lot to live up to!
You know, given this reply you would really enjoy the World of Thedas books. Lots of history, details, etc in there. There's a long timeline and maps, chantry verses, etc, that I think you would enjoy. If you ever get a chance to pick them up or look at them, you should!
Re: vague spoilers for the game that you probably already know about
Dorian is gay and Cullen doesn't like Qunari.
And I do love the characters a lot. They're all great friends. Just nothing hits me for romance.
Someday when I have the money, yes.
Re: vague spoilers for the game that you probably already know about
You can always go f!Adaar and see if anyone catches your interest once you get into the game. You might change your mind. (Unless you've seen the majority of the game already, in which case that probably isn't likely.)
OR you could create a few characters at once for different romances, and try them out. (Before I got 20 hours into the game I had like...four Inquisitors because I liked the character creator so much, and had some assumptions about which characters I was going to romance.) See which one you like most, and then focus on that one?
No matter what way you do it that's okay. You don't even have to romance anyone if you don't feel like it.
Re: vague spoilers for the game that you probably already know about
I've watched a lot. I'll probably just go with Iron Bull. He makes me laugh.
