As long as you aren't being a dick to the new fans, that's okay. It's alright to be disappointed in your fandom; we've all been through it at some point.

If the fic isn't 'to your standards' or interests then fair enough, but you have to keep in mind that not everyone wants the same things and that them posting their stuff isn't taking anything away from you posting yours.
