Interesting. So Delsarte is a specific style of teaching (I did a brief google search)?

I hope your run and dinner go well!

Apparently it was very big in the 19th century. I tried looking at some manuals and I'm really confused...I hope I'll get something out of this workshop. I always worry that I don't sing with enough expression...which probably results in me just singing like a worried person.

I went, and it was amazing! The instructor comes from New York to give this class, and dancers and actors come from out of state to take it. For years, I've been saying "I can't dance," and I've often felt a kind of intellectual disconnect with my body, but I ended up dancing with the instructor--sort of improvised modern/ballroom, I guess you would call it--and not only did I love it, I was even okay at it! I'm attributing it entirely to the awesome teacher and the encouraging atmosphere of the class, but I'm determined now to take lessons because I can't imagine experiencing this only once.
