So disregarding their motives and whatever you want to believe them to be, is anyone else really worried about this UN thing? I mean the majority of the shitty things that have been done to women under the law has been done in the guise of being for womens protection and benefit.

With that in mind, am I the only one really nervous about a couple of women going up to some really powerful men and saying "The internet is dangerous for women". Am I the only one worried about how this could backfire on us big-time?

And in other news, sticks and stones will break my bones but words will never hurt me. Emotional abuse and bullying is all in the heads of the oversensitive victims. Professional reputations are not a thing. Internet is never necessary for people's career, networking, friendships and security. Peeple is a fabulous idea.
