I got this from a high school teacher after talking about two kids who sat in front of me in computer class would pull the computer cord out of mine and effectively shut down my computer. Then laugh at me for being upset about it because it was "just a joke"
I gave her the most deadpan "are you serious?" look I could muster.

Dad told me to, "Hit [them] back." When I was in the fourth grade a classmate came up behind me and quite literally pulled my ponytail. I spun around with the pull and backhanded him across the face. He got a black eye, teachers were never informed, and no one touched me without consent again.
