I lived and worked in the shadow of Lambeau Field in Green Bay for 6 years. There is no alternative but to remove yourself from the situation. If the town's too small to avoid it there isn't much choice, but I now live in a college town with a football/drinking problem of that magnitude - but far from campus and thus I never see any of it.

so OP, if you don't want to stay in, try to spend the day somewhere across town.
