Which republican? I mean, they all frighten me, but Walker, who both had a decent shot and scared the shit out of me, has already dropped out. I've heard Bush or Rubio, and that Carson appeals to the right like Sanders does to the left; is that at all accurate?

Bush is on a downhill slide, and I haven't heard anything about Rubio, which probably means he'll be gone soon too. We don't really need another Bush anyway.

Carson is not a perfect man, but he's very smart and he appears to genuinely believe in his message. I see him as a very good example of the American dream coming true. It's easy to get excited about a candidate like that.

Personally, I'm a fan of John Kasich these days. He's not super popular in the polls, but I'm hoping he'll come out ahead after we clear out some of the fringe candidates.

Kasich is the one that I think would be most electable from your side but, I mean, certainly you would have to say that at this point the GOP base has displayed no enthusiasm whatsoever for him. Nobody seems to want him. Rubio is decent too and has a little more enthusiasm but similar story basically. But Rubio will stick around for a while.

Bush isn't going to get the nomination. He's a schlemiel. Just a real bad campaigner.

Carson seems to have many decent qualities, but he also seems to have a propensity for just saying weird, dumb, bad sounding stuff from time to time, which is fine for someone who's not a politician but not great for a presidential candidate.

What are your thoughts on Fiorina?

Fiorina gets a lot of attention for being well-spoken and for being the only female on stage. Neither of which means she is qualified to be President. Her track record suggests she's not as competent as she sounds.

Carson does seem to be behind the times regarding civil rights, I'll grant you that. But old people are frequently a little slower to embrace change than younger generations. I'm inclined towards generosity in this case.

Jeb is the smart Bush, the Bush I wish had been President instead of his brother. But we don't need a political dynasty. He offers nothing new. Even Barbara Bush said he shouldn't run.

I mean, we all thought Jeb was the smart Bush, but this campaign has been so bad I'm starting to doubt whether that was ever true. He has been just do profoundly incompetent and unimpressive. An absolutely terrible campaign.

Thoughts on Cruz? Personality wise and all. Sorry for picking your brain but it's hard to find moderate Republicans sometimes. s

Jeb is the smartypants of the Bush family, but he's got an admittedly Gawd awful legacy to follow and that's tripping him up. There's a lack of support, both from the public and from his own family, and I'm not sure what is going on with his campaign staff.

Ted Cruz reminds me of my older brother, who is arrogant, sociopathic, and an anarchist. I despise big government as much as the next Republican, but shutting it down cost taxpayers millions upon millions. He's also forgotten (or never learned) Ronald Reagan's Eleventh Commandment: Thou Shalt Not Speak Ill of Another Republican. In fact, he's one of the reasons I want the Tea Party to quit mooching off the GOP and form their own party. John Boehner was right when he called Cruz a jackass.
