Are you liking how they're going so far? Hating them? Indifferent?

Supernatural

I'm having a hard time getting psyhed up to watch a lot of things. But one thing I watched this week was Supernatural, and it felt like a lot of the same old stuff.

"The Darkness" --> reborn bad lady/attraction to Dean? yes, done with Lilith (via Sam), Crowley's Mama, Abadon, etc. and everybody loves Dean, so why not?

And "the Darkness"? Really? At least the embodiment was a woman.

I just keep hoping they cast Gina Torres to play God, and smite/re-make the Earth because this is getting tiresome.

Also, WHY DOES SAM INSIST ON NOT WEARING PRECAUTIONARY EQUIPMENT WHEN DEALING WITH BLOOD?! Was not Croatoan like this? The blood deal also reminded me of Dean's trip into vampirism. Also, again, Sam with the we have to save people schtick. For a minute, I thought it would change when he mentions "we keep falling into the same routine". Clearly, it didn't happen often enough.

I do like Crowley as a woman, but I will miss Mark Sheppard, unless I missed the last few minutes of the show and he came back.

Castle

I'm actually enjoying this season so far. And, as much as I'm a shipper, I'm happy Castle and Beckett are broken up for a while. Because the show was better before they married (I still liked it when they were just dating, but things just went down hill). So I'm glad they are shaking things up.

I haven't seen that show, myself, but I've seen fans on other sites talking about it and holy shit, SO MANY PEOPLE are pissed about the changes. It's weirdly fascinating, watching the meltdown from the sidelines.

So it's nice to hear that there are a few fans like yourself who can find something to enjoy about the storyline and season. I hope it continues to be entertaining for you :). I agree that sometimes it's good for a show to take some bold chances, even if they're risky ones. The longer a show stays on the air, the more natural it is that the writers will want to shake things up from time to time.

I haven't seen past the premiere yet, but jesus christ. Can't they just be happy? I don't think the show went downhill when they got together. It went downhill when they got together and then had a billion absurd obstacles getting in the way of moving forward.

Meanwhile, Ryan's having a second baby that he'll never see and will spend an entire season worrying about how to educate it 20 years from now, not that it'll really matter because nobody ever saw the first baby anyway. And Esposito's been nothing but pissy wallpaper for years.

I didn't realize until I finished this post just how much rage I've built up and buried down about this damn show. I haven't been this RAWR! BOO HISS! over it since the Secrets And Lies of Season 4 that drove me away for half the season. (Literally, I watched the premiere in September and didn't come back until Ryan's wedding in January.)

Agent Carter

I'm half-way through season 1 and I love it! It also helps that Captain America is my favorite Avenger.

Peggy's powerful yet elegent presence really carries the show effortlessly, and I'm conflicted on the fact that it's only 8 episodes long. on the one hand, I enjoy that she has great chemistry with all of the characters. Her friendship with Jarvis is endearing, her friendship with Angie is sweet in its energy. I'm so excited that Enver Gjokaj getting work; I didn't recognize Chad Michael Murray.

I can't wait for season 2.
