I don't disagree with you, I really don't, but the way he handles it isn't any better, in my opinion. It's one thing to dislike something and ask that people not discuss it with you or around you. (And if they persist, maybe asking staff to have them leave.) It's another thing entirely to call them out, be rude, threaten, or otherwise upset them.

I understand that he's tired of being asked about the yaoi. I understand that he's frustrated at having to repeat himself. I still don't condone his bad behavior, especially not in front of young fans. Honestly, as a professing Christian, he should know better and behave better.

(To be fair, I don't think some of his fans know he hates yaoi, though that certainly doesn't excuse the ones who do.)

Yes, yes, I know... Unfortunately, I know you're right. But geez, the way some fangirls are just plain cheeky, it's like they're asking for it from him. I admit that he should be a little nicer to those who genuinely don't know and the younger ones, but seriously: how many voice actors WANT to sign yaoi doujin in the first place?

Though I don't agree with the poster's tactics, I find his boldfaced lie disturbing.

I do find the practice of fangirls bringing doujinshi to be equally disturbing, fwiw.

That is a little weird. It's like he thinks they'll believe him if he goes to extreme measures. Granted, he was set up, but there's no reason to say something like that.

Yeah, I don't understand it either. It's not like they drew the doujinshi or something.
