62. You know, I want to agree with you, and I would have agreed with you... except for the part of 'he's their real son'. Claire is every bit their 'real daughter'. Blood relations =! real son/daughter.

Well, that's not really what I meant (I should have explained myself better but I didn't want to be tl;dr). I think Claire is awesome and I love her relationship with Noah. But if I were him that would be just one more reason for why it would hurt being ignored like that, just like how Claire was hurt by how her biological parents treated her, even though she didn't know them.

Agreed. He's also their son, but it's probably all too much in-character for HRG (and to a lesser extend for Sandra) to be absorbed with worry about Claire, to the point where Lyle becomes practically invisible.

I still cringe when I watch Six Months Ago, and both HRG and Chandra talk exclusively about their daughters, not mentioning with one word that they also have sons. Dicks.
