Surprisingly, the fact that nobody would give a fuck is the reason many secrets on F!S are secrets. Who would've though it?

Heh, I had that same thought. But actually, a lot of people are like that. I also have a distant relative who seems completely disinterested in researching the line that connects us; he hasn't added much of the info I've put up at all. It's fine, just... I'd think he'd want to know everything about both sides.

Most white people from the Anglosphere have British ancestry somewhere, so it's often found pretty boring/commonplace/whitebread!

I did the same. Was kind of boring to learn what I already knew. :/ Distant family from Switzerland. Mostly British.
