Yea, I realized (lol) that after I made my first comment. (Should've googled before commenting...)

I never see realise! Auto-correct tells me to change it to 'realize' so I thought that was the proper spelling.

The way anon emphasized 'realise' I thought they were pointing out a misspelling. My bad.

I think the S is a British spelling. All my spelling logic says "Realise" is spelt with an S, but my browser's very American dictionary disagrees with me. When I remember to do so, I just add it in.

Ooo, that makes sense! I figure spellcheck should account for where you are in the world, but I've never given it that much thought or considered it in this context. lol.

Now I'm wondering how I haven't seen 'realise' more, because I know I've read fic by British folks. Guess I overlooked it or didn't run into it enough for it to stand out.
