To be fair, oftentimes you just don't know yourself well enough so I won't fault her for that. Can't count the number of times I misjudged my own capabilities. But I didn't bother asking if she finished those commissions because (1) it's none of my business and (2) if I wanted to wheedle, I'd ask about her unfinished multichaptered fic.

Aw, yeah, best of luck again anon! In the end, most of us are just trying to make ends meet in however we can. Would definitely reiterate (if you're still in college) not to let your grades slip up too much. Assuming you plan to use your major in your job (and even not), they can be quite helpful! :)

yeah - i know i do things without realizing until either someone points it out or i look back and go "why the hell did i do that?" right, haha, after all, she was just trying to get you to buy her fic. :x

this should be my last semester in college - i'm planning to look for an office job with my associate's (even if everyone's looking for bachelor's these days lol at least let me be a lowly receptionist) after the semester ends. i'm so sick of retail...
