The rift starts cracking, so Dipper and Ford go to get some super adhesive glue from a down spaceship that crashed into Gravity Falls millions of years prior. This gets in the way of Mabel planning their thirteen birthday, who ends up learning High School sucks and that her friends won't be able to go to her party/see her to say goodbye. Ford talks Dipper into being his apprentice, something Dipper really wants, but Mabel gets upset because she figured she'd always have Dipper living with her.

She runs off and grabs Dipper's back on accident, a possessed Blendin tells her she can have Summer last forever, but he needs the rift to do it. Mabel hands over the rift, Billdin smashes it and then knocks her out. The end of the world starts, with screaming, random noises, and a blood red sky.

Yikes. Yeah, I hope she doesn't get a free pass for that at all-- but then, she's been getting passes for ridiculously selfish behavior before, under the guise of "it's okay because it's because she loves her brother", so I can't say I'm totally optimistic about it. :/
