Some children might. This would've seriously disturbed me as a kid, both as a serious cat lover and as someone who has always been extremely sensitive and disturbed by gore. By all means, kids who are interested should have the opportunity to be educated. Though frankly I would suggest there is probably a minimum acceptable age to watch dissections, and a certain level of maturity should be required, too.

Apparently, so it's both very young children and ones who have no choice in the matter either. The zoo reckons they are all into it when they've done it before. Maybe there's a cultural difference going on.
