Re: Favorite and least favorite cartoon style?

I have no definitive favorites and prefer to just grade things individually as I see them, but if there's one thing that I appreciate is when they manage to employ fluid animation with few lines, while still having a detailed look. Examples would be studio Trigger, Kazuto Nakazawa (Samurai Champloo and the first 3 Digimon Movies) and that one short movie, Noise I think is what it was called.

Least favorite is, like I said on the secret, stuff that is made to look like it was drawn by a kid, or when artists get so up their asses about art being about SHAPES AND COLORS(after going to CalArts I guess) that they reduce every feature in their characters to basic shapes. Ugh.
