I've only read Count Cain/Godchild, but it is one of my favourite series and definitely does not get enough love.

Same here! Count Cain is one of those series that really leaves you with this heavy feeling and you just end up thinking about it years later. I admit I might have teared up at the end because damn, if it didn't hit me hard. It's just that great.

I actually couldn't sleep after reading the twist with Riff because I was so angry. I stopped reading for a few days due to sheer rage because how could he do that why would he do that. Whenever I reread it I still have to breathe deeply to calm down and not cry.

Oh God , yes! I was SO angry at Alexander because 'How dare he take Riff away from Cain?!'. Best twist in years. And then the end came and there where bitch tears.
