Starts with Mark, ends with Watches.

(DA) oh wow, I've just been getting *in* to that. I've been irritated off and on by some of the commenters - I'm not sure how to articulate it. Sort of, "This character did a thing that, maybe, a trained professional in the modern world would have done differently! They're terrible!"
Also, I find Mark to be remarkably slow on the uptake at times. The text shouldn't need to spell it out! Things can be implied!

But I think I'll stick with it for a bit longer. I fucking love Discworld, so... yeah.

AYRT
Yeah, I've been around for a few years. It's great for a while! But after that, yeah, I want to tell Mark he'd understand more if he stopped playing to the camera and paid attention, and it feels like they want everything to uphold today's standards of social justice, no matter how progressive something may have been for its time. (That argument is "boring" apparently.) And I do find a lot of the commenters quick to judge.

But I'm happy for you if you're happy there, and hope that lasts as long as you want it to. Are you sticking mostly to Reads, or are you watching TNG - and now Kings and Supernatural), too? I honestly might still read the SPN posts, but I'm so far behind on Star Trek, I think it's better to just go my own pace, leave them alone and maybe pop in for the movies. Great job of cleaving, huh? "I'm gone! Except for these ways that I'm not..." :)
