Het shippers also don't have to deal with all those insecure straight guys. If I had a dime for how many times I have heard, "Am I the only straight guy who watches this?" then I would be rich. Fuck them.


Hmm, I would say the opposite is true in my experience? A lot of slash pairings arise from media geared toward men. I feel like straight guys are more likely to make a big deal of their sexuality when they consume and enjoy stories that prominently feature heterosexual romance.
