...Still never read One Piece lol.

While I understand not wanting to hurt your friend, unless you want him to hound you about it forever you're probably going to have to be blunt about it. His inability to let it go is not good for your relationship, even if it is a relatively small matter. (If all he wants to talk about is One Piece despite your objections, that's a step too far. Dude needs to back off and respect your opinion.)
