Because of the Puzzles & Dragons secret yesterday that I missed! I'm enjoying P&D very much; its gameplay combines match-3/monster collecting + evolution/slot machine to make for some really interesting strategy. Also playing Simpsons: Tapped Out (official Simpsons Simcity-like game) and Alphabear (cute word/collecting game). The main downside is how time-gated all of these are to tempt micotransactions out of players, and I haven't been exempt; but they haven't felt like pay-to-win, either, just requiring me to remember to play patiently.

ayrt -- There was a secret yesterday (#4) about Puzzles and Dragons. I didn't have time to reply then and noticed it didn't get a lot of replies today, so thought I'd open up a general mobile game topic tonight!

I've been sucked into Pokemon Shuffle. I don't have a smartphone so this has been my first experience with these games that tell you "Sorry, you can't play anymore right now. Unless you want to pay money! :)" I'm still having fun with the game even though I refuse to pay anything.

Puzzles & Dragons and Alphabear sound like things I would like too.

I am addicted to Dragon Friends (basically dragon breeding + farmville in one, but it's handled a lot better than other games of its type). The artwork is all really cute and it's so easy to make friends.

My mom is addicted to Frozen Freefall (candy crush with a frozen skin). We have the Amazon Underground version so it doesn't have any timelimits or any in-app purchases, so she's happy with it.

Bread Kittens. It's a game based on the meme of breading cats. You capture cat's Pokemon style by throwing capture bread at them, collecting flour and meow bucks to bake bread to put on your captured cats to increase their stats.
