Lucy (2014)

Have you seen it?

If you haven't, good. Watch it up until last 10 mins and enjoy it's cheesy science then stop.

If you've seen the ending, you have witnessed one of the stupidest "twists" ever.

What is it? I'm really curious and don't care about spoilers the slightest bit.

A woman is used as a black market drug mule with a new drug put into her stomach and sewed shut. It breaks open and starts making her use her brain in increased capacity (the you only use 10% of your brain myth). It's fun, over the top bad science with pretty graphics.

When she reaches 100% capacity of her brain at the end she basically turns into a black supercomputer, creates a flash drive then disintegrates into the space time continuum and is every where every time. But also kind of chooses to disappear or turn into particles of wind that talk. Idk. The last bit was really stupid psuedohigherbeingphilosophycopout.

But prior to the ending it was cheesy fun. You got Morgan freeman, scarlet johansson and others.

Basically you spend most of the move in stretched suspended disbelief and then the ending pushes it too far and breaks it. Enjoyable otherwise.

Reminded me of the matrix where it's fun but gets dull when the main basically becomes God.

Meh, I think I saw a mention of the end before I watched it, so I took it well enough.
