I resented the end of David Eddings' last series. The series basically had the supreme god reverse history and kinda make all the events of the whole war against the enemy have never having happened, yet the results still applied. It was like a whole in-story ret-con of everything and felt really stupid. I know that "The Redemption of Althalus" did something like it on a smaller scale, but in that book it didn't feel like all the events were erased, only some of the past details were rearranged.

Maybe the reason why I was bitter about it is because Eddings was a major part of my teen years.
