If het doesen't follow this or whatever else formula everyone's seen a million times since the turn of the century then I instantly prefer het over slash because I don't enjoy any of the sex one can have as a male so het is always that much hotter to me in this regard >:).

The only reason I ever got into slash in the first place was because I can't stand seeing an abusive het relationship or even a typical Fifty Shades of Grey narrative but slash lets me distance myself enough to enjoy the kink.

Plus I think I rather see a man being abused rather than a woman...
I've seen books like that where an evil woman rapes the good guy but if another woman is the Dom then I get subconsciously threatened by her like she's going to beat me up and steal man lol so I rather see male on male sex if it's non con kink.
