Kink research

[personal profile] philstar22 2015-10-15 11:58 pm (UTC)(link)
So I'm working on a porny fic right now. And it contains a kink I don't know too much details on and have only seen maybe two or three times in fic. So I'm wondering where would be a good place to research something without ending up with just porn results (which is what I got via google).

Depends on what sort of research you want. Do you want to know how to do the kink safety, how people usually do the kink...? For the former, bdsm advice sites usually have tutorials so they might be useful if you can comb through all the casual misogyny. For the later, erotic stories might be of help, tho of course keep in mind that they'll probably be exaggerated views of that kink.

What kink is it? f!s might be able to help.

The kink is double penetration, specifically M/M/M double anal penetration. And what I want to know is how much more preparation is needed and anything else for doing the kink safely, especially given the two characters doing the penetrating are going to be on the large size.

Maybe sites aimed at gay people might help then?

does it need to be accurate? people read stuff for the fantasy of it.

Not necessarily. But I also don't want people to be thinking "ouch, how is he not bleeding and running away?" In my planned plot, the bottom is the one asking for it, so I need to make it believable that he would enjoy it.

Warning: TMI anal sex

[personal profile] herpymcderp 2015-10-16 02:47 am (UTC)(link)
Huh, after reading this I can probably actually help with this.

The thing about anal sex, for whatever size you're talking about penetrating someone with, is that if you haven't done it before it's probably not going to be all that nice. It's also not something that gets to be as spontaneous as, "Hey I have a wild idea: let's try DP!" right in the middle of things, so to speak.

So for this circumstance you might want to assume that:
a) character on the receiving end (x) is adequately washed and enema'd.
b) if characters y and z are different heights, they have some kind of stable surface on which to position themselves in a way that ameliorates the difference
c) lube is available. it might not always be needed for regular anal sex, but this is likely a scenario where it will be, if only to help insertion along
d) character x should probably be fairly used to larger insertions. if not, it might not even work out properly if, say, one dick is in place and the addition of a finger isn't working out... maybe character x is a big fan of huge dildos and has a collection?

As far as safety goes, open lines of communication as with any good sex scene should be fairly adequate.

Also if you think dicks pop out during normal sex a lot... haha.

So the characters in question are supernatural (Melkor, Mairon, Gothmog), and I'm pretty sure the general fandom assumption is that bodily functions don't happen.

I've always used oil in previous fics, so that's a given.

Hadn't thought about the surface yet, actually, so that's good to know.

And I already had fisting in a previous fic, so large is something the character enjoys. But I'm not even sure the fandom has dildos? That is actually something I should ask around in the fandom if people generally assume they exist.

Thanks.

True. In this case we're talking characters who created their own bodies, so it is actually, unusually, a safe assumption.

Okay, one more question. Position wise, is it better to do it from behind or on top? Like would over a table work or is a bed or floor a better option?

That really depends on individual bodies. If someone has really long legs, then trying to have that person standing or kneeling is usually a better option than trying to have everyone on the same level.

I've heard people get really creative with sex swings, and that if both tops are relatively the same height that is one of the easiest options.

Another option is to have one of the people doing the penetration lay down on a table or sit in a tallish chair so that the other person doing the penetrating can be standing.

Sounds unorthodox, but you should probably ask people who are into it.

The catch is, in order to do so you usually wind up having to visit a space where people are gathered for porn or sex reasons. I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for.
