Oh yeah, Cordelia's death definitely irked me. I forgot about that, too. I think that probably says something about the writing in the show. In fact, now that you mentioned it, I remember she died, but I can't remember how. Coma thing after Jasmine, maybe? Crappy way to write her off, even if they weren't on good terms.

I kind of love the Illyria angle (sorry Fred! I really am sorry!), but yes it was pretty brutal watching Fred go out.

Joyce probably got the gold standard of Whedon deaths!
